The Edu-Met Workorder & Caller System is a comprehensive, yet simple to operate software package
design for school districts. Powered by the Oracle Database
System, the "windows" look will comfort even
the most novice user. Utilizing mouse-driven screens, 3-D
buttons, and on-line help, navigating Edu-Met's Workorder & Caller
package requires little effort. This package allows for
the input, scheduling and reporting of all incident-based
maintenance and/or repair activity. As with all Edu-Met
products, there is no limit to the number of incidents
the system can handle. The Edu-Met Workorder Database maintains
calls for repair, inspections, routine maintenance, vandalism,
and more, with the facility to track costs and trends based
on a specific location or 'type' of incident, and much
more. Another built-in module, the preventative maintenance,
provides the school district with a tool to track vehicles,
buildings, and equipment while scheduling periodic maintenance.
The Edu-Met Workorder & Caller system can operate as
a free standing subsystem or interface with the Edu-Met
Fixed Assets System. Various levels of security can be
established, from generic screen access to specific field
access, with all data modifications recorded in a user-specific
on-line audit file.
